To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the sneakers Michael Jordan wore in the classic film Space Jam, Jordan Brand has decided to re-release the classic colorway.

The Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jam’ will be releasing a remastered version similar to the one Michael Jordan originally wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs. Details on the shoe include the traditional all-black mesh, black laces, a higher-cut patent leather upper, a stitched “45” on the heel, blue Jumpman accents, white midsole, and is completed by an icy translucent outsole.

Looney Tunes Packaging

The sneakers will come in a special edition Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny-themed box. The package includes a Space Jam theme cover graphic, as well as the number “45” on both the wrapping paper and inside of the box. A graphic of Bugs Bunny’s and The Monsters’ arms wrapping together to create the number “23” is also included.  The classic dot design roman numeral “XI” finishes off the design.

The Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jam’ remastered version is set to release on December 17th, 2016 at select retail stores. The retail price tag is $220 USD.

It has already been 20 years since the original release. Does anyone feel old yet?
